Wills and Bequest
You can make a specific bequest that designates a certain amount of cash or a specific item or asset you own at the time of your death. Or you can make a residual bequest that gifts part or all of your remaining estate to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of British Columbia after the debts have been cleared and specific provisions have been made for family and friends.
To include a bequest to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of British Columbia in your will, you should consult with a lawyer or a notary experienced in estate planning. They can help you prepare a will or add a codicil to your existing will.
