Leave a Legacy

Is your Will up to date?

Having an up to date Will is the best way to ensure your wishes will be carried out and that your loved-ones will be cared for.

The ALS Society of BC believes that everyone should have their will prepared by a qualified lawyer.

Through the Canadian Free Wills Network Service, we are offering ALS Society of BC supporters aged 55 or over, to have their Will written or updated free of charge.*

The process is easy. We provide a list of lawyers nearest to you and you contact one of them direct.

There’s no obligation to include a gift to ALS Society of BC in your Will, but we sincerely hope you choose to do so.

To find out more, contact Rena Mendoza at donor-relations@alsbc.ca or call 1-800-708-3228.

*The Network service pays for simple Wills as defined by the drafting lawyer. There are provisions if your situation requires a more complex Will.
Sands Family

The Cornflower Seed of Hope Fund is the ALS Society of BC planned giving program that has been created to help those individuals wishing to contribute to the ALS community by leaving a gift in their will.  It is a way to extend your compassion to people and families who will face an ALS diagnosis in the future, and to demonstrate your shared hope to improve the quality of life for those living with, and affected by ALS.

Planned giving options include life insurance, annuities, securities, bequests, assets, trusts and major gifts. We can speak with you and your advisor to see which option best fits your needs. Please contact Donor Relations Manager at  donor-relations@alsbc.ca or 1-800-708-3228 ext. 225.
