Notice of Annual General Meeting of Members

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Annual Meeting of the Members of the ALS Society of British Columbia (the “Society”) will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025; 5:00 PM PT at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel located at 7551 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC.

AGENDA:

1. Motion to receive the April 9, 2024, Annual General Meeting Minutes.
2. Motion to receive the 2024 Annual Report.
3. Motion to receive the Financial Statements of the Society and the Auditor’s report for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024.
4. Motion to appoint the auditors for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025.
5. Elect members-at-large & nominees for Director. Any member in good standing is eligible to be nominated as Director.
6. Acknowledgement of retiring Directors.
7. Transact other business that may come up before the meeting.
8. The AGM will be followed by:
   • Annual Volunteers Awards Celebration and tributes.
   • President’s Reception.
