In Memory of Our Dad, Husband, Grampa, Brother & Uncle

Chris Ells lived with ALS for eight years and fought the battle with stubbornness, humour and support from his family and the ALS Society of BC. Throughout his journey with ALS, Chris was a huge advocate for ALSBC, even receiving the 2019 ALS Society of BC Exceptional Public Awareness Award. He opened his life up to the public in videos, news segments, speaking at past Move to Cure ALS events, and in the monthly support group. Chris passed away peacefully in November 2022, but he would’ve wanted us all to continue moving to cure ALS so that families in the future don’t have to experience this terrible terminal disease.
