Gianpierro Denomme
Gianpierro Denomme is a graduate from Royal Roads University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies (2019), and is also an active volunteer with the ALS Society of BC. In his volunteerism career with the ALS Society of BC, he has participated in numerous ALS fundraising initiatives such as the Golfathon for ALS, the BMO Vancouver Marathon as a charity runner, and most recently as the 2019 Mid Island Walk to End ALS coordinator. Gianpierro’s inspiration to give back to the individuals and families living with ALS comes from being personally impacted by the disease. As a five-year-old, Gianpierro witnessed his father live with ALS for seven years until his passing in 2006, leaving a profound legacy of inspiration within the community. Throughout these challenging years and beyond, Gianpierro witnessed in many ways his family, friends, and many members of the community come together to provide support for his family – something he is grateful for. In these selfless acts, he learned the value of what it means to give back to the community and the positive impact it carries. Presently, being a proud volunteer for the ALS Society of BC, Gianpierro hopes to give back to the community and reflect the same support he and his family experienced.
