Flower Day

On June 1st, volunteers will be on location at several stores and malls around Victoria and the surrounding area. Offering cornflower pins by donation, the Flower Day volunteers will be raising awareness and funds for ALS research at the following locations:

  • Admirals Walk – Thrifty Foods
  • Broadmead Village – BC Liquor Store and Breezeway
  • Beacon Plaza (Sidney) – Thrifty Foods, Shoppers, and BC Liquor Store
  • Colwood Corners – London Drugs and Thrifty Foods
  • Tillicum Mall
  • Royal Oak Shopping Centre – Country Grocer and Shoppers Drug Mart
  • Gorge Plaza – Shoppers Drug Mart and BC Liquor Store
  • Saanich Plaza – Thrifty Foods and London Drugs

The cornflower is a symbol of hope for people living with ALS. All proceeds from Flower Day will be directed to the ALS Canada Research Program to help find the cause of, and cure for ALS.

Flower Day is one of many events held in June, which is ALS Awareness Month in BC.
