I am a retired lawyer and have been living in Vancouver since 1999. Prior to moving to Vancouver, I practised law in Alberta for 15 years. During that time, I founded a family and real estate law practice in Alberta, served on the Alberta Mental Health Review Panel, and was a Board member of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Edmonton Foundation.

In Vancouver, I was the Board secretary for the West Point Grey Academy Foundation from 2005-2014. I was also a member of the Fundraising committee at West Point Grey Academy. Over the past four and a half years, I have volunteered with the ALS Society of BC. Initially, I served as a member of the Finance committee. In 2020 I joined the Society’s Board of Directors. I am very much looking forward to continuing my involvement with the ALS Society of BC. The Society has launched PROJECT HOPE in collaboration with the faculty of medicine at UBC. The goal is to establish ALS research, clinical care and support services at UBC. Our hope is to find a cure for this terrible disease.
