Elizabeth Legge is a retired lawyer living in Vancouver since 1999. Before moving to Vancouver, Elizabeth practised law in Alberta for 15 years. During that time, she founded a family and real estate law practice in Alberta, served on the Alberta Mental Health Review Panel, and was a Board member of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Edmonton Foundation. In Vancouver, Elizabeth was the Board Secretary for the West Point Grey Academy Foundation from 2005-2014 and served as a member of the Fundraising Committee at West Point Grey Academy.

Over the past four and a half years, Elizabeth has volunteered with the ALS Society of BC. Initially serving as a Finance Committee member, she joined the Society’s Board of Directors in 2020. Elizabeth is very much looking forward to continuing to be involved with the ALS Society of BC. The Society has launched PROJECT HOPE in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at UBC. The goal is to establish ALS research, clinical care, and support services at UBC, hoping to find a cure for this terrible disease.
