Paul LeBlanc

Born in Nova Scotia, Paul wandered eastern Canada for a few decades before settling in Vancouver in the mid-1990s.  A small business owner from a family of entrepreneurs, he is the owner of FASTSIGNS Vancouver, a manufacturer of visual communications products which has been in business since 1996.  Prior to his current business he worked in sales at Key Publishers and as corporate controller at Colour Technologies, both in Toronto.  He was a member of the board of Touchstone Theatre for eight years.  For ALS BC he serves on the finance committee and ultimately as board president. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University with a specialization in finance.  Paul’s life was touched by ALS when his mother was diagnosed with the illness in 1981.  She lived with ALS for 10 years. For some years after that, ALS was the last thing he wanted to be involved with, but he feels working with ALS BC over the past decade has been one of the most rewarding experiences of his life. Paul currently also serves on the Federation Council of ALS Associations of Canada and is a past chair of that group. He is the outgoing Board President of ALS BC.
