Mooman Charity Golf Tournament in 2023

On a fantastic Friday, March 15th, 2024!, Tom and Lynette Johner swung by the ALS Society of BC office to personally meet the team and present a phenomenal donation of $4,010.00! This incredible contribution was all thanks to another smashing success of the Mooman Charity Golf Tournament in 2023.
Since 2010, Tom – with his wife’s and colleagues’ incredible support at Island Farms and Agropur – has been championing this amazing event. Their dedication has resulted in a whopping $21,595.00 raised! The generous proceeds go directly towards the David Pendray Memorial Endowment Fund, which helps people living with ALS or PLS in British Columbia and the Yukon through the ALS Society of BC Programs & Services.
We are beyond grateful to Tom, Lynette, Island Farms and the Agropur family, participants, volunteers, and all involved in the golf tournament for their unwavering commitment. The generosity truly makes a difference in supporting people with ALS or PLS, their families and caregivers. Like their “the milk of human kindness” philosophy, Island Farms (serving communities since 1944) continues to nourish hope and build a healthier future for all.
